Ohio CDE

July 23rd through July 25th 2010

Carriages in the Park continues in 2010 following a great 2009. We will be primarily focused on training and education for people who are thinking about doing carriage driving competitions but don't know anything and for people who participate in CDE's at the training or preliminary level.

We will have the same exhibition events as in 2009. For pleasure drivers and competitors, we will have a cones demonstration at Hale Farm and Villiage on Sunday afternoon, followed by a parade through historic Hale Village.

We have provision for an 8 mile and a 3 mile road driving course and a large meadow for warm-ups and casual drives.

Carriages in the Park Parade

• Co-resident with the Ohio CDE
• Travels through historic Hale Village
• Held on Sunday after the Marathon, before awards
• 2pm to 3pm
• Full formal dressage turnout is preferred but all carriages are allowed
• Route is about 2 miles total on pavement/grass
